Conference Sponsorship for Participants from Non-OECD Countries

We offer sponsorship for 10 (early-career) scholars from non-OECD countries to attend ISWA 2026. The sponsorship includes: • Conference fees • Conference dinner and excursion

1.    Purpose:

This offer supports first authors and presenters who face financial barriers to participation. It aims to:

  • Broaden international participation by increasing representation of underrepresented regions
  • Support knowledge transfer across contexts 
  • Support  researchers with limited financial resources, with a priority on early-career researchers
  • Provide opportunities for professional development

2.    Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Be first author and presenter of an accepted contribution 
  • Reside in a non-OECD country (see list).
  • Prove personal and academic motivation as well as financial needs for a sponsorship

3.    Application

  • Please complete the application form by May 1, 2026 (this document  constitutes your application form). 
  • Please upload all required documents (application form, acceptance confirmation, and CV) to ConfTool.  
  • Decisions will be communicated by May 15, 2026.
  • Selected applicants must submit a copy of their flight ticket as proof of attendance by the end of May to receive the sponsorship.
